Why I Started Swift Water

My story began in a very personal way — when my wife and I had a pool installed at our own home. What should’ve been relaxing quickly turned into a daily checklist of things to remember: adjusting settings, turning equipment on and off, checking water levels and temperatures. It felt more complicated than it should be. That experience pushed me to explore what automation could really offer, not just in terms of convenience, but in terms of long-term reliability and control. What I discovered was a world of solutions that, when implemented properly, could simplify everything. Today, I bring that same approach to every project, combining automation with solid home network integration to make pool care manageable no matter where you are.

Since launching Swift Water in 2025, I’ve focused on doing one thing well: the technical side of pool and spa automation. With over 30 years in technology and cybersecurity, I understand not just how to get systems running, but how to do it securely and in a way that works seamlessly in your day-to-day life. I know that a pool or spa is a significant investment, and my job is to make sure it doesn’t turn into a chore.
